Conspiracy theories wallow in humanity’s darkness

Insisting that what appears good is really bad

That what appears bad is really even worse

When something good in substance

Like the Uluru Statement from the Heart (one only had to read it)

Is maligned by those seeking a self-serving advantage at its expense

When it is smeared by sprouting conspiracies

Resulting in its condemnation and rejection

Society takes a backward step

We need good things in our lives to take us forward

It is as true for society

As it is for our families

Don’t let others dictate what is good and what is bad

Examine them yourself

Don’t leave out your heart

Heed your hunches

At the very least it will tell you something about yourself
